Mothering Sunday

In the book of Isaiah, we hear God say: “As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you”.

How ever Mothering Sunday makes you feel - whether joy and gratitude, grief or regret - you are warmly welcome to our service at 11am-12.15pm on Sunday 31 March. We recognise that there are complicated emotions around as we consider the theme of ‘mothering’ and we want to be real to those feelings, as well as genuinely honouring all who have mothered us well.

In our service there’ll be lots of all-age fun, a chance to give thanks to mothers - whatever form they take! - and we will also be welcoming three little ones into the Church, as they are baptised.
