Ash Wednesday

You are warmly invited to join us for our Ash Wednesday service on 2 March at 7.30pm.

The service will be a quiet and reflective time as we enter into the season of Lent, and during the service you are invited to receive a cross of ashes on your forehead, as a sign of both our frailty and mortality, and the everlasting love and saving power of Jesus Christ, as revealed on the cross.

You are also encouraged to consider making Ash Wednesday a day in which you spend time in prayer and fasting for peace in the world, and especially peace in Ukraine. That might mean fasting your lunch and giving some of that time to pray.

All are warmly welcome.
