Reimagining Holloway Prison

On Saturday 8 June, 3- 4:30pm, you are warmly invited to St George’s for an interactive discussion and an opportunity to leave your feedback on some student proposals for the future of Holloway Prison site.

In light of the local community campaign, the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London, adopted the Holloway Prison site in one of their Masters’ modules last year. The result is a set of urban design proposals reimagining the Holloway Prison site after development, following Islington Council’s SPD, prepared by over 70 postgraduate students.

Please join us to review and discuss the projects. Some of the students will present their work, followed by commentary and discussions with members of the local community. The event will form part of a consultation by the Community Plan for Holloway’s Architects and Planners Group, as well as providing feedback for the students’ projects.
