Children and Community Worker

We are delighted that, after a year of generous volunteering, Stephen Mawhinney remains on the St George’s team as our Children and Community Worker (three days per week). Steve will continue to take the lead for Children’s Church on Sundays, Messy Church, All-Age services and the Holiday Club, as well as community outreach, which varies from Alpha to work in our local schools to our lively annual ceilidh. Steve is also our deputy safeguarding officer.

We pray for Steve in his role and are deeply thankful for his many gifts.
