Thy Kingdom Come

Thy Kingdom Come is an initiative from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, to encourage the whole Church to focus on prayer, from Ascension Day to Pentecost. In its third year, there are loads of helpful resources gathered together on the website, to encourage us in prayer.

At St George's we'll be doing five things for Thy Kingdom Come and you're invited to get involved in any or all of them:

  1. Everyone is invited to pick up a Novena (nine day) prayer guide from the church for daily inspiration.
  2. We are holding an Ascension Day service of prayer and Communion on Thursday 10 May at 8-8.45am.
  3. The prayer chapel will be open for quiet prayer on Sunday 13 May 6-8pm.
  4. Join us for Morning Prayer on Wednesday 16 May at 8am
  5. You are warmly invited to join in Thy Kingdom Come prayer and worship event at St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday 19 May at 7.30pm - tickets are free and available here.

Do join us in praying for God's kingdom to come, on earth, in Tufnell Park, as it is in heaven.
