Community Outreach

We are utterly delighted that Stephen Mawhinney is starting at St George's as a Community Outreach volunteer for three days per week. 

Steve is an experienced Children's Worker and has lived in and around Islington for the past 18 years. He is from Northern Ireland, just happens to have a PhD in Chemistry and formerly worked in Marketing and Market Research. He is married to Ruth.  

Steve is keen to connect with people around the parish and will be helping to run Messy Church, all-age services and courses for people wanting to explore faith.
